Since ESOAL ended, I have been having problems with my legs. I was cut up a lot during ESOAL. Well now I have these scabs and cuts that aren't healing to well. I have been cleaning them with peroxide and neosporin every day. They look like they start to heal, but then there's a kind of scab that gets covered by pus. It's very painful, almost unbearable to walk. I've been putting band-aids on them and it's not helping. The sores start to leak and turn the band-aid hard. They're starting to stink a little. It hurts in the mornings to get out of bed. If you remember please pray that these sores heal quickly. I really don't want to go to the doctor and pay a ridiculous amount of moola. Thanks!

*update on Oct. 3rd, 2007 5:21PM- I am seeing the Nurse Practitioner on Friday!

*Update on Oct. 4th, 2007 8:55PM- The Clinic at Teen Mania cancelled all appointments. I need to see a Doctor... anyone know of any free ones in Texas? THANKS!

thats what happened to my knee when i got stitches... i think its just the natural healing process for deep wounds.

don't worry...now you'll have another cool ESOAL story.

I had a similar thing happen on my arm, Had to get antibiotics to get it cleared up. Not sure if they still have a Nurse Practitioner come on Campus, otherwise check tyler for a clinic.

GO TO THE DOCTOR! It's just going to get worse if you keep messing with it.

*This is coming from someone who NEVER goes to the doctor. I hate going to the doctors...but your situation doesn't sound good and I would have for it to turn in to something way worse.*

Might be infected... You better take precautions- like going to the doctor to avoid having your leg get cut off.

he's probably infected...he needs to go the doctor...he probably needs antibiotics. :( BUT tell him to lay off the peroxide...it actually inhibits healing...it kills new tissue. Tell him just to gently clean it off with warm soapy water, rinse with clean water, and then neosporin those up. Tell him only to give it a few more days...those things can turn NASTY QUICKLY...then he's in for a LOT more expensive treatments...like hospital stays for cellulitis, sepsis, etc with tons of EXPENSIVE IV antibiotics...if he can't pay, TX has free clinics...tell him to go to one of those. Stress if they are beginning to STINK...it's probably infected...and it's really important to get them checked out if they are not healing. Can he go see the nurse @ TM?

Thanks Skyla for that... It really helps. Tell Kristen I said thanks too. I have an appointment tomorrow. The Doctor that's coming today is booked... but I may go to the clinic anyways and demand that he looks at it TODAY! :) Thanks again!

Hey Victor... I'm so sorry about your legs. That doesn't sound fun at all. We will be praying for you. I think you should definetely go see the doctor... it would be well worth it! Miss you.
